Dr. Alejandro Rodríguez Morata

Prof. Dr. Alejandro Rodríguez Morata stands as a distinguished vascular surgeon in Spain, offering more than two decades of expertise in the field. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he possesses a profound understanding of various treatment procedures, focusing on conditions such as atherosclerosis, pelvic varicose veins, aortic aneurysms, and peripheral artery disease. His academic journey commenced at the University of Granada, where he earned his MD degree in 1999, followed by a doctorate in 2005 with a specialization in electron microscopy of endothelial cells. Dr. Rodríguez furthered his qualifications with a specialization course in tissue engineering and obtained a master's degree in the management and organizations of social health from San Jorge University in 2011-2012. His rich professional experience includes serving as a resident intern at S. Cecilio Clinical University Hospital in Granada from 2000 to 2005 and later as an assistant doctor at the department of angiology and vascular surgery at Hospital Clínico Virgen de la Victoria in Malaga from 2005 to 2016. Driven by a commitment to excellence, he assumed the role of senior consultant at his private facility of vascular surgery practice and, since 2016, has been the director of the department of angiology and vascular surgery at Quironsalud Marbella Hospital.
