Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasiya is a rising star in the field of interventional cardiology in India, currently making significant contributions as part of the team at Artemis Hospital. With an impressive 11 years of experience in this specialized domain, Dr. Amit Kumar stands out for his expertise and dedication to advancing cardiac care. His international exposure includes participating in conferences and leading scientific meetings across various countries, such as Vietnam, Hungary, and Bangkok. Previously, Dr. Chaurasiya served as a Consultant of Interventional Cardiology at BLK Superspeciality Hospital in Delhi, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience. His pursuit of excellence led him to Europe for a Fellowship in Complex Coronary and Structural Heart Disease, enriching his knowledge in the intricacies of these critical areas. Throughout his career, Dr. Amit Kumar has held significant positions, including serving as a Consultant of Interventional Cardiology at the Bankers Heart Institute in Surat and later as an Assistant Professor in Cardiology at RGSH in Delhi. His journey also took him to Ahmedabad for Interventional Cardiology at UNMICR. Demonstrating a commitment to education, he assumed the role of Associate Professor in Cardiology at CMS in Bharatpur, Nepal. Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasiya's educational background is robust, featuring a Fellowship in Cardiology from SCTIMST at Trivandrum and an Internal Medicine Residency at AIIMS, Delhi. Notably, he holds the record for the highest number of Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) procedures in India, showcasing his proficiency in cutting-edge cardiac interventions. With over 250 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures, as well as more than 100 endomyocardial biopsies, Dr. Amit Kumar remains at the forefront of innovative cardiac care, continually pushing boundaries for the benefit of his patients.
