Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Lacy has held pivotal roles, such as serving as an Associate Professor of Digestive and General Surgery at the University of Barcelona and later founding the General and Digestive Surgery Department at Quironsalud Barcelona, where he currently serves as the Head. Dr. Lacy's achievements are marked by groundbreaking milestones, including being the first Spanish surgeon to perform Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES) and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) in Obesity Surgery.
