

Dr. Emili Montserrat, a distinguished Spanish oncohematologist and professor, is a trailblazer in the field of hematology oncology, specializing in the treatment and management of blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. Currently affiliated with the Teknon Medical Center in Barcelona, Spain, Dr. Montserrat brings over five decades of expertise to his role. Graduating as a medical doctor from the University of Salamanca in 1969, he furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona in 1974. Dr. Montserrat's illustrious career includes serving as a medical doctor at Saint Louis Hospital in Paris from 1973 to 1974 and subsequently assuming the position of the head of the hematology department and institute at Teknon Barcelona Medical Center in 1975. Concurrently, he held a professorship at the oncology and hematology department of the University of Barcelona.
