Dr. Joaquim Casañas Sintes is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon, renowned for his expertise in hand surgery and peripheral nerve procedures. With over a decade of service at the Teknon clinic in Spain, he has achieved international acclaim for his contributions to hand and upper limb surgery. Dr. Casañas Sintes specializes in osteoarthritis therapy, upper extremity arthroscopic surgery, brachial plexus procedures, bone reconstruction, and trauma surgery, focusing on upper extremity tendon issues. Educated at the University of Barcelona, he completed his specialization in orthopedics and traumatology at Bellvitge University Hospital in 1993, followed by a diploma in hand surgery in 2001. As the Head of the Orthopedics Unit at Teknon Medical Center since 1997, Dr. Casañas Sintes has been instrumental in advancing orthopedic care.
