Prof. Dr. Kamuran Zeynep Sevim, a seasoned Turkish plastic surgeon with two decades of dedicated service. Prof. Dr. Sevim completed her foundational medical education at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey, from 1993 to 1999. Subsequently, she pursued specialization in plastic surgery at Izmir Katip Celebi University Hospital from 2001 to 2007. To enhance her skills, Prof. Dr. Sevim attended courses at John Hopkins University in Maryland, USA, focusing on plastic surgery in 2005. Her commitment to continuous improvement led her to Switzerland in 2013, where she delved into microsurgery at the University Sanatorium in Zurich. In 2015, she furthered her academic pursuits, acquiring expertise in assistant professorship at MedStar University Hospital in the USA. Prof. Dr. Kamuran Zeynep Sevim's illustrious professional journey began in 2001, and she has since contributed significantly to the field of reconstructive and plastic surgical treatment. Her roles include serving as a health practitioner at Izmir Katip Celebi University Research Hospital, a doctor at Gaziantep University Health Facility, and a consultant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Treatment at Sisli Hamidiye Etfal Research Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Treatment Department at LIV Hospital, Turkey. In addition to her rich educational background and professional accomplishments, Prof. Dr. Sevim is actively involved in prestigious organizations within Turkey, including the Aesthetic Surgery Association, the Association of Emergency Hand Surgery and Microsurgery, and the Turkish Medical Facility.
