Dr. Kim Seon Hahn

Dr. Kim Seon Hahn is a highly esteemed gastroenterologist in South Korea, currently lending his expertise to Korea University Anam Hospital. With an illustrious career spanning 25 years, he has garnered international recognition for his contributions to the field. Dr. Hahn is not only an accomplished practitioner but also a trailblazer as one of the founders of the Clinic Robotic Surgery Association. His proficiency in minimally invasive surgeries, particularly in the realms of robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, Whipple procedure, and appendix surgeries, sets him apart. Educated at Korea University College, Dr. Kim Seon pursued his bachelor's in medicine and furthered his specialization in gastroenterology, culminating in a Ph.D. from Korea University graduate school. His professional journey commenced in 1984 at HyeHwa Hospital Korea, followed by a stint at Guro Hospital in Seoul from 1991 to 1993. Dr. Hahn's leadership roles include serving as the chief of the General Surgery Center at Ansan Hospital from 1993 to 1995, an associate professor at Korea University Medical College, and heading the colorectal surgery center of Hansol Hospital. His commitment to education extended to teaching at DongGuk University from 2005 to 2006. Since 2006, Dr. Kim Seon Hahn has been at the forefront as the head of colorectal and robotic surgery divisions at Korea University Anam Hospital, where he continues to contribute his expertise to the advancement of gastroenterology and surgical techniques.
