2005: He completed a Hands-on Course in mitral valve repair and basic training in Robotic Surgery in Belgium; 1996 - 2002: Dr. Salis completed a Postgraduate program in Cardiac surgery from the Soroka University Medical Center in Israel; 1996: He completed his training in MIDCAB, OPCAB & Minimally Invasive vein, and radial artery harvesting in Innsbruck, Austria; 1993: He completed his cardiac and thoracic surgery specialization from the Belinson (Rabin Medical Centre) Medical Faculty Sacler at Tel Aviv University; 1992: He completed his Postgraduate studies in adult and pediatric cardiology from the Medical Faculty Sacler of Tel Aviv University; 1988 - 1991: Dr. Salis Tager completed a Cardiothoracic surgery specialization at the Medical Center Beilinson; 1986 – 1988: He completed a specialization in general surgery from the Prof. R. Reis Medical Center Beilinson.

2010-present: Dr. Salis Tager founded the Department for cardiac and thoracic surgery at the Acibadem Sistina Hospital; 2004 – 2011: He worked as a Senior staff surgeon at the Department for aortic and complex reconstructive Cardiac Surgery; 2004 – 2011: He worked as a Course coordinator of the elective program in Cardiac Surgery for medical students at the Medical Faculty Sackler of Tel Aviv University; 1997 - 2004: Dr. Salis worked as a Surgeon and deputy chief at the Medical Center 'Soroka' of Tel Aviv University; 1996 – 2002: He worked as a Course Coordinator for diseases of the aorta at Columbia University and Ben-Gurion University in Israel; 1995: He worked as an Honorary staff member at the Cardiac and Thoracic department and Faculty of Medicine in Hanover, Germany; 1993-1995: Dr. Salis completed his Fellowship for aneurysms, dissections, lung and heart transplantation, and aortic and mitral valve repair at the 'Medizinische Hochschule' (MHH) in Hannover; 1993: He worked as a Chief of the Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Department of 'Assuta Hospital' in Tel Aviv; 1980 - 1983: Dr. Salis Tager worked as an Assistant professor in Physiology.
