Prof. Dr. Dariusz Dudek

Prof. Dr. Dariusz Dudek stands as a distinguished figure in the realm of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, with a remarkable career spanning 18 years. Currently affiliated with the University Hospital Krakow in Poland, Prof. Dudek specializes in Percutaneous heart valve surgeries, showcasing expertise in areas such as Aortic Stenosis, Replacement of the Aortic Valve, Interventricular Septum Defects, Cardiac Ischemia, Aortocoronary Shunting, Angioplasty, Arrhythmia, and Congenital Heart Defects. Having graduated from Jagiellonian University and completed his cardiology specialization, Prof. Dudek furthered his education through postgraduate studies and research on myocardial infarction at the same institute. His professional journey includes an enriching internship in the USA, where he successfully completed a fellowship program in valve replacement procedures. Notably, Prof. Dudek holds the distinction of being the first cardiologist in Poland to perform the TAVI procedure without complications, earning recognition from the Ministry of Health and accolades from the Poland Cardiology Society for his exceptional contributions. Throughout his illustrious career, he has published over 500 research articles, served as the editor of a renowned Polish Cardiology journal, and actively participated in conferences, elevating cardiovascular interventions in Poland.
