Currently serving at Helios Medical Group in Germany, Dr. Heese's educational journey includes obtaining an MD degree from the University of Lubeck, specializing in neurology from a prestigious German institute, and completing a doctorate in the same field. Additionally, he pursued a professorship, post-doctoral thesis, and an MBA in health economics from the University of Hamburg. Throughout his career, Dr. Heese has held pivotal roles in various renowned institutions. He commenced his professional journey at the department of neurology of the Medical University of Lubeck, later completing his residency at the Department of Neurology of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the USA. Following this, he served as a senior consultant at the department of neurology of the Hamburg Eppendorf University Hospital before assuming the directorship of the department of neurosurgery and spinal surgery at Helios Medical Group, where he continues to provide exemplary care.
