Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Lange

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Lange is a distinguished figure in the realm of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery in Germany, recognized for his significant contributions over a career spanning more than 40 years. Born in 1953 in Bonn, Germany, Dr. Lange completed his medical education with a specialization in cardiology, dedicating his expertise to heart and vascular surgeries. His focus includes the treatment of congenital heart diseases, minimally invasive heart surgeries, heart valve reconstruction, valve implantation, and reconstruction. Dr. Rüdiger Lange's educational journey includes training at reputable institutions like DHM and the Surgery department of TUM, with additional training at Harvard Medical School in the US. Notably, he assumed the role of the director of the Cardiac Surgery department at ULM University Hospital in 1995 and currently serves as the head of the Cardiovascular Surgery center at the German Heart Center Munich.
