Meet Zeng Zongyuan, a distinguished Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Chief Expert specializing in Neck and Head Tumors at Fuda Cancer Hospital. Graduating from the Medical Department of Sun Yat-sen University (now Sun Yat-sen University), he boasts an impressive career, including roles as the Vice President of the Tumor Hospital affiliated with Sun Yat-sen University and the Deputy Director of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. With over 40 years of dedicated involvement in cancer research, Prof. Zeng has excelled in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors, with a particular focus on laryngeal cancer and oral cancer. Notably, he served as the chief specialist of laryngeal cancer at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and earned acclaim as an "Zero Bleeding" expert. Prof. Zeng's innovative contributions include the development of Intermittent Blocked Ligation Therapy and Cross-stitched Chained Mattress Suture, revolutionary techniques that effectively minimize intraoperative bleeding.
