He did his specialization training in Internal disease Medical, oncology He joined Kyrenia military hospital for one year as an internal diseases service chief. He served as an instructor, vice director of the medical oncology department at Gata Haydarpasa training hospital in 1997. Then he was appointed as Head of the Medical Oncology department there. Prof. Emin Gökhan is currently working as an internal diseases and medical oncology specialist at Memorial Ataşehi̇r Hospital in the breast health center department since 2012.
