With over 28 years of experience, Dr. Achenbach completed his medical education at the University of Erlangen, followed by specialization in cardiology at Massachusetts Hospital in Boston. Currently, Prof. Dr. Achenbach serves as a senior consultant of the cardiovascular unit at the University of Erlangen. His influential memberships include being the founder of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, a board member of ECS (European Cardiovascular Society), vice president of the European Society of Cardiology, and an active participant in both the German Cardiac Society and the American Cardiology Association.
