Dr. Teresa Acuña Gutierrez, a distinguished oncologist based in Mallorca, Spain, has garnered extensive experience and recognition in the field of oncology. Graduating with distinction in medicine from the University of San Martin de Porres in 1998, Dr. Teresa subsequently specialized in oncology, completing her training in 2005 at the University Federico Villareal. Further enriching her expertise, she pursued MIR training in Germany and conducted research at University Hospital Son Espases. Throughout her career, Dr. Teresa has demonstrated a commitment to patient care and medical research. She commenced her professional journey by providing occupational services for chronic pain management, followed by a pivotal role in the urological oncology unit at Son Espases. Notably, she performed nephrectomy procedures and contributed to critical patient care. In 2013, Dr. Teresa joined Clinica Rotger, where she currently serves as a senior physician in the oncology unit. Her dedication to advancing oncological knowledge is evident in her 32 research articles on intensive care therapy and active participation in international conferences and seminars. Dr. Teresa Acuña is a permanent member of ESMO, part of the Spanish Association of Oncology, and holds memberships in esteemed oncological societies.
